Fedar FD70 DTF

High production speed

In standard production mode (4pass), the FD70 is capable of printing 9-12m2 per hour (approx. 2400 pieces 5x10cm prints) at high print quality. To work efficiently at this speed, it is advisable to purchase the original automatic pulverizer, which turns the equipment into a high-performance line capable of producing literally thousands of transfers per hour.

High level of technology and reliability

Despite its relatively small size, the FD70 is similar in design to large and industrial equipment rather than desktop printers. It has a massive oversized drive mechanism, a refill system with 1.5l ink tanks, automatic white mixing and electro-mechanical protection of the print head against possible impact. Our company is an authorized service center for this equipment and all critical parts are constantly stocked in large quantities. So you don't have to worry about production downtimes.

DTF printing

Direct to Foil is a transfer printing method. This means that the printer prints a mirror image of the print on a special transparent transfer film. The ink is automatically or manually dusted with powdered adhesive and dried. The film is then simply cut to the required dimensions and ironed onto the products using a suitably sized transfer press.

Advantages of DTF versus DTG

The biggest advantage is, of course, the production speed of the whole process, as there is no need to treat black t-shirts, which saves two heat fixations in the technological process of one product. Since the output is printed on the film in bulk and not piece by piece, it is not possible to compare the production capability in this respect at all. The difference would be several hundred-fold.

The print adheres to the surface of virtually any textile material using powdered polyurethane adhesive, and thus has no problem with textured materials like piqué. The resistance of the print to washing is thus also higher.

Powder coating equipment

The H650 Powder shaker machine is the ideal machine for maximum efficiency in DTF production with the Fedar FD70 printer. When placed in front of the printer, the equipment becomes a single production unit - a transfer production line. The film coming out of the printer passes through the powdering equipment, where an automatic system applies the powder adhesive and removes the excess in return. The film is then dried and wound onto a roll on an integrated winder.
