Robust construction is a given at Mimaki. What makes the TS55 an industrial machine are upgrades such as 10-litre ink tanks and a massive Jumbo Roll Unwinder, which can accommodate up to 300kg of roll up to 600mm diameter - a real reduction in printing costs.
Speed
The model includes multiple speed modes. The maximum speed mode reaches 135m2/h. The high quality output oriented print mode has a stable production speed of 50m2/h.

Mini jumbo roll unit Massive unwinder allowing to easily accommodate a roll with 2500 linear meters of paper saves the entry price of the transfer paper, as well as saving technical time - the frequency of media changes is significantly lower |
Refill system 10kg A unique bulk system in its class. Compared to 2l ink packs, operating costs are very significantly reduced, as is the frequency of refill replacement. |
Extension of heating This extension is installed under the basic heating drum which is part of the machine. It improves the drying speed of the ink, so it reduces the risk of contamination or other damage to the wound roll by undried ink on the media surface. |

System MAPS
Striping caused by colour gradients is virtually eliminated thanks to MAPS3. As can be seen in the picture, the MAPS3 transitions are not straight but the overlapping part of the transition is intelligently spaced so that visual defects caused by, for example, imperfect adjustment of the media feed do not arise. The printing is therefore very smooth and continuous.
New print head
The new Mimaki 600dpi print head is designed and developed precisely for the purpose of stable high-speed printing at high densities, which are usually achieved by high ink application in textile printing. The head width and droplet size ensures that the printer can be truly fully utilized even in higher production speed modes.
Fluorescent colours
The demand for fluorescent colours, especially for products in the sports or fashion industry, has been increasing in recent years. This printer fully supports multiple modes with complementary colours. The original fluorescent yellow and fluorescent magenta complementary inks are available. Mixing them produces fluorescent orange.
Combined with colours from the basic CMYK, you are able to produce over 40 different shades of fluorescent green, orange, red and purple. Fluorescent inks are used to brighten common non-fluo shades of darker colours, giving them an inimitable look.
Software solution
Mimaki gives a choice of two possible variations for this model - RasterLink 6+ or TX-Link 4, the RIP software from Swiss company ErgoSoft. Both variants are free of charge.Technical specification | |
